Details of Business Transacted by the Research Analyst with Respect to Investors

  • Publish research reports based on the research activities of the RA.
  • Provide an independent unbiased view on securities.
  • Offer unbiased recommendations, disclosing financial interests in recommended securities.
  • Provide research recommendations based on the analysis of publicly available information and known observations.
  • Conduct annual audits.

Details of Services Provided to Investors (No Indicative Timelines)

  • Onboarding of clients.
  • Disclosure to clients.
  • Distribute research reports and recommendations to clients without discrimination.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the publication of research reports until made available in the public domain.

Details of Grievance Redressal Mechanism and How to Access It

Grievance/Complaint Resolution:

Investors should approach the concerned research analyst to ensure grievances are resolved within 30 days.

Escalation to SEBI:

If the complaint is not redressed satisfactorily, lodge a complaint with SEBI on the SCORES portal (a centralized web-based complaints redressal system). SEBI takes up the complaints registered via SCORES with the concerned intermediary for timely redressal. SCORES facilitates tracking the status of the complaint.

Expectations from Investors (Responsibilities of Investors)

Do’s:

  • Always deal with SEBI-registered Research Analysts.
  • Ensure the Research Analyst has a valid registration certificate.
  • Check for SEBI registration number.
  • Refer to the list of SEBI-registered Research Analysts on SEBI's website: SEBI Registered Research Analysts
  • Pay attention to disclosures made in research reports before investing.
  • Pay your Research Analyst through banking channels only and maintain duly signed receipts mentioning payment details.
  • Before buying securities or applying in a public offer, check the research recommendations provided by your Research Analyst.
  • Ask relevant questions and clear doubts with your Research Analyst before acting on recommendations.
  • Inform SEBI about Research Analysts offering assured or guaranteed returns.

Don’ts:

  • Do not provide funds for investment to the Research Analyst.
  • Don’t fall prey to alluring advertisements or market rumors.
  • Do not get attracted to limited-period discounts or other incentives, gifts, etc., offered by Research Analysts.
  • Do not share login credentials and passwords of your trading and demat accounts with the Research Analyst.
